Social Whale is the big ongoing project of Venture Geeks. In case you never heard about it, Social Whale is a platform which brings social media closer and helps its members control their activity from one place.
Currently, from Social Whale you can tweet, update your Facebook status, access your photos from Instagram and read your RSS feeds. In the near future more services will be included.
Social Whale has been awarded several times in Greece and around the world. One of its best moments was when it received the first price in Vodafone's App Star contest in Greece.
Considering design, Social Whale is much more than a timeline of statuses. It must remain accessible and easy to be used no matter the nature of the information shared in there. It is actually, a system, a real platform which always requires new features without sacrificing the older ones.
Recently, Social Whale introduced "Channels". Any member of the application can create any number of Channels. Then a member can assign people from a social network to a Channel and this way the amount of information consumed can be easily controllable.

Wizard
The Wizard of Social Whale helps members create a Channel and add people to it.
I worked with Yiannis for the Vodafone App Star competition. The result was more than great. Yiannis is the best Greek designer.
