My philosophy on Web Design

Web Design is defined as the design of websites or web applications. In reality it goes much further. Web design is strongly attached to communication and use. The visitors of a website communicate with it and use it.

Try to describe the terms “communication” and “use” with a few words. You ‘ll see that it is more difficult than it sounds. Each design targets to make these words happen without any visitor’s effort.

As a result a web designer is a person who needs to be technically capable, always watchful and cultured.

Even if technical abilities could be measured, it would be impossible to measure watchfulness as a way to comprehend and adapt things to certain circumstances or to measure culture as a product of creativity and intellect.

All in all things are pretty clear to me: not everyone can be a web designer. The fact that anyone might judge the work of a web designer does not make it less important or simpler. However it is a job that offers satisfaction to the designer and tremendous promotion to a customer who wants to be present at the most dynamic media of the new era: the Web.
